Plans and credits

A plan is what opens Sendrix. There are two, and they differ in who pays for the messages: on one you send with credits, on the other sending is included.

Settings, then Wallet shows which one you are on, when it renews, and how much is left of whichever thing limits you. What each plan costs, and which one works out cheaper for what you send, is on the pricing page.

Without a plan

The workspace is read-only. Every conversation, campaign, contact and report is still there and still yours to read and export. Nothing can be sent, and nothing can be changed.

What costs a credit

On the access plan. On the all-inclusive plan none of this is charged, and without a plan none of it can happen at all.

Reserving, and refunds

Firing a campaign sets aside the full cost up front. If your balance is short the campaign does not start at all, and it tells you how many credits you need. Nothing partial happens.

A credit is only really spent once the message reaches a phone. WhatsApp bills on delivery rather than on attempt, so anything that does not arrive is given back automatically.

  • WhatsApp refuses the message. It never left, so it is refunded.
  • WhatsApp accepts it and it never arrives. Also refunded, once the failure is reported.
  • Nothing is ever heard back. Refunded after 30 days, which is the point past which a delivery is no longer possible.
  • You cancel a campaign. Everything not yet sent is refunded.

The all-inclusive plan

Sending is included, up to a number of messages a period. Nothing is charged and your credit balance, if you have one, is not touched at all. The wallet page shows how many of the included messages you have used.

A campaign is covered as a whole or not at all. If 200 messages are left in your allowance and you fire a campaign to 5,000, it will not send part of it, and the composer says so before you press anything.

When a plan ends

The workspace goes read-only. Nothing is deleted and nothing is lost: every message, campaign and contact stays exactly as it was, and a new plan brings it all back. Any credits you held are still there too, waiting for a plan that uses them.

The ledger

Settings, then Wallet shows every movement: top-ups, campaign debits, refunds, adjustments. The ledger is append only. Nothing in it can be edited or removed, including by us. Time on the all-inclusive plan leaves no entries at all, because nothing moved.

EntryMeaning
TOPUPCredits added to your workspace.
CAMPAIGN_DEBITReserved when a campaign started.
MESSAGE_DEBITA single message: an API send, or a template from the inbox.
REFUNDReturned from a refusal, a failed delivery, or a cancellation.
ADJUSTMENTA manual correction, with a note explaining it.

Starting or changing a plan

Self-serve purchasing is not available yet. Ask your Sendrix contact to start a plan, move between the two, raise an allowance, or add credits. Anything added appears in the ledger straight away. The pricing page has the figures, and there is a seven day trial of either plan if you want to try one first.
