Sending

Campaigns

A campaign sends one template to one audience. This page covers building it, what happens after you press send, and how to read the result.

Building one

ChoiceNotes
SenderWhich of your numbers it goes from. Defaults to your default sender.
TemplateOnly approved templates appear.
AudienceEveryone in it who has a reachable number.
VariablesMap each slot to a contact field or a fixed value.
Header mediaRequired if the template has an image, video, or document header.
ScheduleSend now, or pick a time.

Before sending, the campaign shows how many people it will reach and what it costs — credits, or nothing if your plan includes sending. Check it. This is the last point at which nothing has happened.

What happens when you send

Sending does not contact Meta straight away. In one step Sendrix counts the recipients, reserves the credits, works out each person's variables, and queues a message per contact. A worker then sends them steadily in the background.

States

StateMeaning
DRAFTBeing built. Nothing reserved, nothing sent.
SCHEDULEDWaiting for its time. Credits already reserved.
RUNNINGGoing out now.
PAUSEDStopped partway. Resume or cancel.
COMPLETEDEvery message has a final result.
CANCELLEDStopped for good. Unsent messages refunded.
FAILEDCould not run at all, for example the sender was removed.

Watching it

The campaign page updates live: queued, sent, delivered, read, failed. Delivery and read counts arrive by webhook and can lag a few seconds behind the send.

CountMeaning
SentMeta accepted it.
DeliveredIt reached the person's phone.
ReadThey opened it. Only if they have read receipts on.
FailedIt will not arrive. The reason is shown per message.

Pausing, cancelling, retrying

ActionEffect
PauseStops sending. Messages already gone stay gone. Resume when ready.
CancelStops for good and refunds everything unsent.
Retry failedQueues another attempt for failures worth retrying. Only the ones already refunded are charged again.

When sends fail

Some fail, most do not

Normal. Usually the number is not on WhatsApp, or the person blocked your business. Each message carries its own reason.

Everything fails

Something is wrong with the sender or the template, not the list. Check the sender on Senders, and that the template is still approved.

It slowed right down

Meta rate limits new numbers and raises the limit as you send reliably. Sendrix backs off when told to rather than hammering through, so a large campaign from a new number takes longer. This is expected and needs nothing from you.

Reports

Finished campaigns export as Excel or CSV, one row per recipient with their status, timestamps, and any error. Useful for handing results back to a client.
